EYE CARE

Eating fruits, vegetables  is good not only for your body but also for your eye.

Food like green leafy vegetables, spinach, papaya, corn, green peas and egg yolks are good for EYE health. Apricots AND ALMONDS are good antioxidants and help in protecting the eye lens.

Multi-vitamins especially Vitamin A, also help in reviving eye nutritional balance. Most types of milk are also fortified with Vitamin A. Vitamin A is essential to proper functioning of the retina. It also helps prevent night blindness by helping the eye to adapt between bright light darkness.

TIPS

Blink often.
. Blink your eyes often while working on computer Take a break from strenuous work and relax your eyes.
.1 Do not expose eyes to bright and direct sunlight..
2.Never watch solar eclipse without protecting glasses.
3. Protect your eyes from sand, dust and smoke..
4. INTERMITTENTLY splash water on face with eye closed.
5. Never use others handkerchiefs or towels.

6.Do not lie on the floor and read.
7. Book to be placed at least 12 inches away.
8. When reading the light source should be behind you and direct the light on the page. .

EYE CHECK UP.

MUST FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 1 TO 5 YEARS.

AT LEAST ONCE IN TEENAGE  AND  YOUNG ADULT .

AFTER 40 YEARS EVERY  1 /2YEARS.MORE IF YOU HAVE HIGH BP/DIABETES.
